Your voice matters. Share it with the world.
The Legal Examiner is powered by contributors — attorneys, legal professionals, advocates, and community members who want to help the public better understand how law and justice shape everyday life.
If you have knowledge or experience to share, becoming a contributor is simple and straightforward.
How It Works
Step 1: Start Your Free Trial
Sign up for a Contributor account using our 14-day free trial.
- No risk and no charge until your trial ends.
- Cancel anytime before the trial ends with no penalty.
- Reader subscriptions are always free, but to publish, you must choose the paid Contributor plan.
Step 2: Book Your Onboarding Session
After signing up, you’ll be prompted to schedule a quick onboarding session during your free trial.
This session helps us:
- Get to know you and your background.
- Walk you through how to use the platform.
- Answer any questions before you begin publishing.
If everything goes well, we’ll activate your contributor account so you can immediately start writing and publishing.
Step 3: Write & Publish
Once your account is activated, you’ll have full access to your contributor dashboard:
- Draft, edit, and publish articles instantly.
- Build your public profile and byline.
- See all your published work in one place.
Important: Contributors are fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything they publish. Your words go live exactly as you submit them — no edits or reviews.
Step 4: Cancel Anytime
You’re in control of your membership:
- Cancel anytime to downgrade to a free reader account from your subscription settings.
