I invite those of you who obtain a settlement or verdict that you feel is worthy of reporting to other trial lawyers or members of the public to visit and register to "follow" my Twitter Account, ‘JusticeFellow’, to report your results. Or, you can email me at lawsuitllc@yahoo.com and I’ll report the results for you. For those of you who are new to Twitter, remember that you have a very limited number of words available to report results. Take a look at the few examples at the ‘JusticeFellow’ site for guidance; it is very difficult to get the information you wish to convey in the amount of characters permitted by the site. My main goal in creating this Twitter account, my InjuryBoard membership, my principal blogsite at www.lawsuitfinanceblog.com, and all other internet media accounts is to educate attorneys and the general public about legal and legal funding topics of interest.

All of us are responsible for countering the public misinformation about so-called "lawsuit abuse". We must publish our message, in as many forums as possible: Trial lawyers do a tremendous service in assisting the injured and disabled, keeping our citizens safe, and in holding private and corporate citizens responsible for their negligent conduct. Insurance companies receive premiums from all of us to insure risk. Despite being required to pay out damage awards in a small number of situations (as compared to premium receipts with no claims file-pure profit for the insurance companies), these insurers have argued, quite successfully, that the size and frequency of these awards require reform of our system of justice. They have gotten their way in many jurisdictions and have powerful lobbies and billions of dollars in premium profits available to get their message out. So, please report your pro-justice experiences in some public forum (an InjuryBoard posting is a good start). Report on insurance company attempts to abuse our system of justice and, worse, your own individual clients. Report your successes; report your important verdicts and settlements at www.twitter.com/justicefellow. I look forward to reporting positive pro-justice verdicts and settlements for all InjuryBoard members.
