According to court documents Ramos and Huff were traveling in different directions on Highway 3 near League City when the defendant disregarded a stop and go signal at the intersection and pulled out in front of Ramos’ vehicle.

Huff is accused of failing to timely apply his brakes and failing to keep proper lookout. The suit claims that as a result of the accident all of the plaintiffs have suffered serious bodily injury.

Ramos and Benavidez are seeking 40,000 and a combined 9,000 for the injuries to the two minor passengers. They have also requested a jury trial.

District Court Judge John Ellisor is presiding over the case.
