Doctors at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit “[have performed a double lung transplant on a man whose lungs were damaged from vaping](https://upnorthlive.com/news/local/vaping-related-lung-transplant-performed-at-detroit-hospital-11-11-2019?ref=legalexaminer.com).”

The double lung transplant comes in the midst of the vaping epidemic in which more than 2,000 Americans have become sick over the past eight months, including at least 40 people who have died, one of which did so here in Michigan.
