What happens when the person who is sexually harassing you at work, is also the human relations director? In the case of [Crawford v. Nashville](http://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=4ece2fac-e7ee-43de-af7f-63db9a3d8cea&ref=legalexaminer.com), a woman is fired for testifying against a co-worker in a sexual harassment case; the said coworker was also the head of human relations. Listen in to hear the Law Sisters explain the intricacies of [Title VII](https://www.eeoc.gov/laws/statutes/titlevii.cfm?ref=legalexaminer.com), and learn about the rights *most* workers are provided under this federal law.

One of the most infamous sexual harassment cases of 2017 has come to a head at [Uber](http://time.com/4819557/uber-fail-upheaval-is-wake-up-call/?utm%5Fcampaign=time&utm%5Fsource=twitter.com&utm%5Fmedium=social&xid=time%5Fsocialflow%5Ftwitter) over the last few months, after an [enlightening blog](https://www.susanjfowler.com/blog/2017/2/19/reflecting-on-one-very-strange-year-at-uber?ref=legalexaminer.com) post by Former Uber worker, Susan Fowler. Sexual harassment horror stories in Silicon Valley have been popping up left and right, and for good reason; 60% of women working Tech jobs in Silicon Valley have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace, according to [a 2015 survey](https://www.elephantinthevalley.com/?ref=legalexaminer.com).

So, why does sexual harassment seem so endemic in the Tech Industry? Valerie and Leto discuss the “[brogrammer” culture](https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/jun/21/uber-travis-kalanick-what-next-silicon-valley?ref=legalexaminer.com) and the ways in which it has lead to systematic misogyny in many technology workplaces.

This episode’s “[Bad Boss of the Week](https://backchannel.com/how-meetup-ditched-its-boys-club-4a3a3084e72f?ref=legalexaminer.com)” tells the story of how a male CEO chose to handle a possibly discriminatory workplace. Listen in to see if he succeeded!

Quote of the week: “Inclusion is generally good business.”
