A Staten Island police officer that suffered injuries when he fell on a slippery floor in NYPD’s office has settled his suit against the city.
According to court documents, the accident occurred on December 27, 2009 in the Staten Island Narcotics Bureau, when the officer slipped and fell due to “oil and/or other slippery substance,” on the floor. The documents further allege the floor had been slippery on other occasions and had been left that way.
