Precious Moments Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), voluntarily recalled 4,300 Angel Tree Toppers due to a faulty wiring which can overheat posing a fire hazard.
To this date, the company has received two reports of incidents involving the tree toppers overheating. There have been no reported injuries.
Below is a list of the recalled toppers and the associated UPC numbers:
10” Precious Moments Angel with Bells Tree Topper, PMI item number: 892017 (UPC#875555880175) or 895046 (UPC#875555895469)
10” Precious Moments Angel holding Star Tree Topper, PM item number: 892020 (UPC#875555880205) or 895046(UPC#875555895469)
Consumers are urged to return the recalled toppers to the store of purchase for a refund.
