Michael Monheit is the managing attorney for Monheit Law, located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have practiced law since 1989. He is also the managing attorney of the Law Offices of Herbert Monheit (now Silverman & Fodera), a firm founded by Herbert Monheit in 1963. Monheit is the managing attorney in charge of all Internet business development for the firm of Anapol Schwartz. He was chair of the Fosamax Litigation Group with the American Association for Justice (AAJ) from 2009 to 2012. Monheit serves on the Board of Directors of the Cleft Lip & Palate Foundation of Smiles, an organization that provides answers, resources and support to children and families of children with craniofacial differences. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of TVT-NO!, an organization dedicated to helping inform women of the dangers of transvaginal mesh and tape. He is a member of Trial Lawyers Care, Website and IT Advisory Committee, Marketing & Practice Development Committee, and Public Education Committee within AAJ. Monheit Law, P.C. concentrates its practice in the field of plaintiff personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis. Monheit developed a national reputation including involvement in latex allergy litigation as a member of the Plaintiff's Steering and Executive Committee in MDL 1148. He was also lead counsel in class actions involving childhood lead paint poisoning against public housing authorities (including The Philadelphia Housing Authority) and claims against the lead paint industry.
